Brief Description
PING, Inc. is seeking a Benefits & Employee Wellness Specialist to assist in the administration of the Company's health and welfare benefit programs while promoting employee health and well-being through wellness coaching, education, and engagement initiatives. This role serves as a resource for employees regarding benefits, wellness programs, and healthy lifestyle practices while ensuring compliance with applicable benefit regulations and maintaining exceptional customer service. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

You Will
- Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, claims support, communications, and record maintenance
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit plans, eligibility, and wellness resources
- Conduct new hire benefit orientations, benefits education sessions, and open enrollment activities
- Develop and implement employee wellness initiatives, programs, and educational campaigns that support overall employee well-being
- Conduct wellness assessments and provide individualized health and wellness coaching focused on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Develop personalized wellness action plans and provide ongoing follow-up, support, and accountability to encourage achievement of wellness goals
- Deliver wellness workshops, health-related seminars, and employee engagement activities
- Utilize coaching and behavior-change techniques to motivate employees to establish and maintain healthy habits
- Collaborate with internal and external resources, including health plan providers and wellness partners, to support employee wellness initiatives
- Maintain confidential employee benefit and wellness information in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulations
- Perform audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained in accordance with federal and state laws
- Analyze benefits and wellness program data and recommend improvements to increase employee engagement and program effectiveness
- Stay current on employee benefits regulations, health promotion strategies, and wellness industry trends
You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree from a properly accredited college or university in Human Resources, Health Promotion, Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; plus four years of benefits administration, wellness programming, health coaching, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional certification in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Health Coaching, or Wellness Management is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary
- Must be proficient in use of business English and spelling
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and team skills with the ability to gain consensus
- Strong coaching, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Must be culturally aware, diplomatic, and able to handle day-to-day personnel-related information in a confidential and professional manner
- Must be adept at problem solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
- Must have the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with employees, vendors, and management
- Must possess an intermediate level of computer literacy of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); UKG Ready HRIS (to be trained)
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration and applicable regulations
- Understanding of health promotion, behavior-change principles, and wellness programming
- Ability to develop personalized wellness plans and motivate individuals to achieve health goals
Qualifications
