Responsibilities
- Understand client’s intent for the setup of their benefit plans.
- Complete configuration of new clients and maintain changes for existing clients, including but not limited to: account structure, benefit plan design, clinical program, drug coverage, network, and billing.
- Identify all test case scenarios that will be used to confirm the setup of the plan is accurate.
- Audit all configuration elements to ensure accuracy and alignment with the client’s intent.
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement approach to confirm processes and internal controls are in place and updated to meet industry, business, and technology standards.
- Assist internal teams with claim inquiries and training.
- Create and maintain training documentation.
- Adjust processes to support internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or other relevant experience as determined by the company.
- 5 years of benefit configuration experience within a PBM or Healthplan.
- Experience with plan setup testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician experience.
