Job Title: Employee Benefits Billing CoordinatorLocation: Remote (PST Timezone)Employment Type: Temporary (Through Dec 1st with possible extension)Pay: $30-$36/hr. DOE We're seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to support employee benefits billing and administration services. This role is responsible for premium billing, payment processing, account reconciliations, eligibility reporting, and COBRA administration for clients with complex benefits programs. ResponsibilitiesCalculate and process premiums for employee benefit plans.Prepare and distribute monthly consolidated billing statements.Process premium payments and maintain accurate records.Reconcile client accounts and audit benefits databases.Generate eligibility reports and support COBRA billing activities.Communicate billing discrepancies and adjustments with clients.Support new client implementations and onboarding activities.Maintain data accuracy within agency management systems.Assist team members and complete additional administrative duties as needed. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.3+ year of experience in benefits administration, billing, accounting, or finance.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.PreferredExperience with employee benefits administration or insurance billing.Knowledge of COBRA and premium reconciliation processes.
