About the role
The Benefits and Compensation Specialist is responsible for managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee benefit plans including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Ensure all benefits are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on understanding and utilizing their benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and external vendors to improve and enhance benefits offerings.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to benefits administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Experience with benefits administration software.
- Understanding of various types of insurance coverage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
