About the role

The Benefits and Compensation Specialist is responsible for managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee benefit plans including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Ensure all benefits are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on understanding and utilizing their benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and external vendors to improve and enhance benefits offerings.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to benefits administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Experience with benefits administration software.
  • Understanding of various types of insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
