Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday benefits configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancement requests.
- Analyze benefits data and system workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for HR and business users.
- Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data integrity through audits, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
- Monitor system performance, user feedback, and business needs to recommend and implement process improvements that reduce manual processing time and improve accuracy.
- Support annual open enrollment cycle, including system setup, testing, and post-cycle analysis.
- Provide end-user support, training, and documentation efforts for end-users and stakeholders to drive adoption and understanding of compensation tools.
- Stay current on Workday releases and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements.
- Manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Investigate and perform root cause analysis on system errors.
- Proactively evaluate and recommend adoption of changes as they meet organizational needs and implement system capabilities.
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum three years of HRIS experience, with two years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience, specifically in benefits.
- Proficient in Workday Core HCM, reporting, security, calculated fields, and business process configuration.
- Experience supporting benefit planning cycles in a corporate environment.
- Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Proven ability to design and sustain business processes, especially in environments with evolving system capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for reporting.
- Experience with testing, configuration, and troubleshooting within Workday or other ERP platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
