About the role
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for managing and administering various employee benefits programs. This includes coordinating with vendors, processing claims, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer health insurance plans, retirement plans, and other employee benefits programs.
- Process claims and resolve discrepancies between employees and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and company policies regarding benefits administration.
- Collaborate with HR team to provide support and guidance on benefits-related issues.
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to benefits administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of various types of employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management.
- Experience with benefits administration software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Benefits
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and paid time off.
Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.
