About the role
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for managing and administering various employee benefits programs. This includes processing claims, communicating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify employee benefit claims
- Communicate with vendors and service providers regarding benefit plan issues
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to benefits administration
- Support the implementation of new benefit plans and changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits administration or related field
- Knowledge of major benefit plans such as health insurance, retirement plans, and disability insurance
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
