Join HUB International as a Plan Analyst and serve as the data foundation of our analytics team, working independently and in partnership with Account Management and Consulting Teams.
About the role
Extract, organize, and process benefits performance data to produce accurate, timely, and consistent reporting for clients.
Responsibilities
- Extract and request data from various sources (TPAs, Carriers, etc.) and organize it for analysis.
- Generate monthly plan performance and budget performance reports.
- Work with the Account Management team to provide timely and accurate analytics solutions, including claims experience, benchmarking, third-party tools, and HUB proprietary tools (e.g., Persona).
- Generate diagnostic analytics of health and pharmacy plans.
- Utilize HUB’s proprietary data warehouse and analytics resources.
- Support program analysis of client and prospect data, including both standard and ad-hoc requests.
- Assist in the creation of renewal presentations and draft plan budgets.
- Request and obtain online access to partner sites.
- Manage and track multiple high-volume projects using HUB’s systems of record.
- Cross-train in various areas as identified by the Employee Benefits (EB) team and train others within the Analytics team.
- Follow Quality Assurance Processes to ensure accuracy before delivering materials to clients.
- Provide timely resolution of issues as they arise.
- Maintain all business programs for internal purposes and accounting records.
- Create and deliver ad-hoc data requests and reports.
- Establish and maintain strong, effective business relationships with teammates, clients, and carriers.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Investigate complex issues and demonstrate eagerness to learn.
- Perform other duties as assigned, following HUB Broker Standards.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of previous work experience related to group health insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree desired (Business, Math, Economics, or related field preferred).
- L&H License required or must be obtainable within 90 days of hire.
- General knowledge of employer-sponsored benefit plans.
- Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
- Some travel may be required by car to meet with clients and attend outside events.

- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as Word and PowerPoint. Experience following guidelines in BMS (BenefitPoint) and Monday.com for team efficiency.
