Benefits Account Manager

About the role

Location: Oklahoma City, OK | In-office. Seeking an experienced employee benefits account manager to service employer group insurance accounts with an independent insurance agency in OKC.

Responsibilities

• Service new and existing employee benefits accounts and respond to client questions.
• Coordinate renewals, enrollment, coverage changes, and billing issues with clients and insurance carriers.
• Partner with producers to provide timely, accurate account support.
• Record commissions, allocate payments to producers, and reconcile carrier commission statements.
• Maintain producer license renewals, carrier appointments, and contracts.
• Keep client records accurate and protect confidential information.

Qualifications

• Prior employee benefits account servicing experience in an insurance agency or brokerage required.
• Working knowledge of employer group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
• Experience coordinating renewals and enrollment and communicating directly with clients and carriers.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Life and health insurance license preferred.
