About the role

This position supports Missouri citizens in accessing food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance through the Benefit Program.

Responsibilities

  • Determine initial and continuing eligibility for assistance
  • Interview clients in person and by telephone
  • Prepare summaries of client information
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least four years of customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Qualifications

  • Personable and compassionate
  • Non-judgmental attitude
  • Lack of post-secondary education will not disqualify applicants

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
