About the role
This position supports Missouri citizens in accessing food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance through the Benefit Program.
Responsibilities
- Determine initial and continuing eligibility for assistance
- Interview clients in person and by telephone
- Prepare summaries of client information
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least four years of customer service experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Qualifications
- Personable and compassionate
- Non-judgmental attitude
- Lack of post-secondary education will not disqualify applicants
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
