Bench Repair Technician - Portland, OR
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and repairing equipment, electronic and computer hardware using hand, power tools and other special equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing down to the component level to include, but not limited to ATM’s PC’s, LCD’s, CRTs, and other electronic & computer hardware associated with the Banking industry.
- Analysis the repair tags completed by Field Technicians, identify what needs to be repaired and complete task.
- Log requested repairs, vs actual repairs.
- Keep track of equipment on hand, supplies, materials, and inventory for repair purposes. Order as needed.
- Support in product receiving and general warehouse duties.
- De-Solder and remove components in micro-miniature circuits.
- Repair high reliability micro-electric solder connections.
- Perform preventative maintenance on test beds when needed.
- Inspect micro-electronic repairs and identify defects in workmanship.
- Ensures all work is performed to company quality standards and practices.
- Assist in weekly cycle counts.
- Assist in annual year-end inventory.
- Aid in “Part Request” emails when assigned.
- Works in compliance with Federal/State laws regarding safety of self and others always.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
