Responsibilities
- Support MRO Operations
- Perform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Aid in retaining and maintaining all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic form
- Utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism for efficient maintenance planning and time limit item tracking
- Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances
- Manage material readiness, inventory, and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts and tooling
- Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair Manuals
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet production demands
Requirements
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours typically 3:00pm to 11:30pm with overtime and weekends as business needs demand
- High School education or equivalent, with 2 or more years of mechanical experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Good command of the English language; oral and written communication skills
- Good communication skills, multi-tasking ability, and detail orientation
- Good judgment regarding quality and safety
- Willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills
- Working knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerances
- Physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required by a DOT facility regulated by the FAA
- Ability to pass pre-hire background check screening
