Bench Mechanic (Aerospace Manufacturing) 2nd Shift Typically 3pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Assist in retaining and maintaining all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic form.
• Continuously update and utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism to allow for efficient maintenance planning, time limit item tracking.
• Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances.
• Manage material readiness, inventory, and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts, and tooling.
• Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair Manuals.
• Accomplish duties with little or no assistance.
• Demonstrate good command of the English language (oral and written).
• Possess a valid unexpired US state Driver License.
• Exhibit good communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and be detail‑oriented.

Requirements

• Responsible for the assembly, testing, and travelers related to heat exchangers, components, parts, and tools.
• Secondary responsibilities include disassembly, cleaning, analytical inspection, reworking schemes, detailing, and other duties as assigned.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals or other technical data to determine feasibility and method to perform assigned tasks.
• Replace or repair damaged or worn component parts using hand tools, special tools, pneumatic and precision measuring equipment; assemble components with same tools and equipment.
