About the role
Provides emergency medical care in a hospital setting under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient care activities including but not limited to monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing basic first aid.
- Works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a BLS Provider from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
