Responsibilities

• Conduct the Bell service activities such as luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, luggage storage.
• Open the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assist in unloading the luggage if any.
• Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest/patron at any customer interaction.
• Guide guests to their room in a professional manner, which includes addressing the guest by name, holding the lift for guest, and extending hotel introduction to guest.
• Possess extensive knowledge relating to hotel products, events, and promotions.
• Assist with transportation arrangements for guests.
• Assist in guest transportation, including driving the hotel shuttle as needed.
• Transport guests and hotel clients safely to their destination with the hotel shuttle, following outlined company driving procedures and requirements.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle.
• Keep driving log for the hotel shuttle up to date.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Front Desk and the surrounding environment.
• Support the lobby lighting adjustments periodically.
• Assist with delivering Front Office or Housekeeping items to guest rooms, such as newspapers or requested linens.
• Extend assistance to guests, clients, and patrons alike in a flexible and hospitable manner.
• Demonstrate professional and welcoming image while on duty.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or hotel leadership.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who visit the workplace.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Prior experience of at least one year in the hospitality field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Biltmore Farms and the Asheville area.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and be able to walk, stoop, and bend frequently.
