Qualifications
- Previous luxury hotel experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, exceptional organizational skills, an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio.
Benefits
Local 26 Contract stipulates starting rate per hour at $18.38 and after 6 Months of service, rate increases to $19.70 per hour. After one year of service, hourly rate per hour increases to $26.26.
About the Role
The Overnight Bell Person is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests’ needs during the overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and welcome them to the hotel.
- Unloads guest luggage from a variety of types of transportation and brings inside to the bell stand.
- Aids in the transport and storage of guest luggage.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards.
- Controls the traffic flow in and out of the motor lobby.
- Speak to guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome at the hotel.
- Call for taxi, or other method of transportation, as needed.
- Be knowledgeable of all hotel amenities and with different points of interest.
- Perform any other duties required by management.
Pay
