About the role

The Bellperson assists the Rooms leadership team in delivering exceptional guest experiences by engaging guests throughout the hotel and managing the full-cycle guest luggage experience. This role supports the company’s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values as an active business partner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the full-cycle guest luggage program
• Facilitate hotel room orientations, deliver amenities, and transport items to guest rooms as needed
• Maintain working knowledge of hotel rooms, services, and features to relay information to guests
• Drive hotel vehicles short distances off-property for guest drop-offs, pick-ups, or item retrievals as requested

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary workplace language
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Luxury hotel experience preferred
• Prior Bellperson experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 60 lbs (luggage, guest items, bags) regularly
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs regularly
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity

Pay

The base pay scale for this position is $15.00 per hour, exclusive of incentive pay such as gratuities.
