Bellows Fabricator 2 (Bellows) 2nd Shift
About the role
This role involves operating and setting up Hydroformer machines to produce and verify piece parts according to print and specifications. Responsibilities include corrugating shells, performing various inspections, and utilizing a range of tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Hydroformer horizontal and vertical forming machines.
- Corrugate shells to form bellows, including cutting, deburring, bumping, sizing, and annealing tube.
- Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections to verify parts conform to print and specifications.
- Develop skills to operate additional machinery such as lathes, optical comparators, hydroformers, hydraulic presses, bead blasters, flow testers, proof pressure testers, hydrogen furnaces, etc.
- Complete written and electronic labor tracking documentation.
- Communicate with team members and internal cross-functional teams to ensure all processes are understood and issues are addressed.
- Participate in and support team initiatives.
Requirements
- High school education or GED equivalency.
- 1 year manufacturing experience.
- Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.
- Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools.
- Basic understanding of mathematical principles; may need to do conversions to decimal system.

Pay
The pay for this position is $21.50/hr. plus 10% for the shift difference. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.
Schedule
As this role may encounter high-risk or hazardous operations, working with chemicals, and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
