ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Warmly welcome and engage every guest, taking care to learn names and preferences whenever possible.
- Provide personalized assistance with directions, resort information, and activity updates to ensure guests feel informed and at ease.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional presentation of the Bell stand, Sundance vehicles, and guest reception areas.
- Seamlessly introduce guests to the Front Desk or Concierge when appropriate, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Deliver personalized in-room check-ins, orienting guests to their accommodations and the property.
- Aid with luggage handling, delivering bags promptly and respectfully to lodging units.
- Respond quickly to shuttle requests and guest deliveries with courtesy and efficiency.
- Provide safe, timely transportation for lodging guests using the on-property shuttle service; if certified, extend service to and from the airport.
- Follow established protocols when entering occupied rooms to ensure guest privacy and trust.
- Deliver room service promptly, confirming accuracy of orders and resolving any discrepancies with care.
- Offer guided room tours for prospective clients and guests, showcasing the Sundance experience.
- Uphold environmental policies, including Sundance's no-idling standard.
- Consistently demonstrate warmth, positivity, and professionalism in all guest interactions.
- Assist other departments by transporting goods across property, and occasionally off-property, as needed.
- Maintain Sundance-issued vehicles inside and out, completing regular inspections and promptly documenting or reporting any issues.
- Immediately report accidents or safety concerns according to protocol.
- Share deep knowledge of Sundance offerings, amenities, and culture with staff and guests alike.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills that reflect the spirit of Sundance.
- Maintain a valid driver's license in good standing as required by Sundance's insurance policies.
- Thrive in both fast-paced and relaxed environments, effectively balancing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer proficiency and resort experience preferred.
- Ability to operate 2-way radio for communication with staff. Some computer experience is helpful.
- Must have a current valid U.S. driver's license with fewer than two moving violations within the last two years and/or in good standing based on the requirements of the Sundance's Insurance Policy if over 25 years of age.
