Join Our Team as a Bell Attendant – Make Every Guest Feel Special!
Responsibilities
- Create a Welcoming Atmosphere: Greet guests with a smile, making sure they feel immediately comfortable and taken care of upon arrival and departure.
- Assist with Guest Luggage: Manage luggage pick-up, drop-off, and ensure all bags are correctly labeled and stored safely.
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Perform regular checks to ensure rooms, keys, and units are ready for check-ins and that everything is set up for a flawless experience.
- Work with the Shuttle Team: Assist shuttle drivers with guest and luggage pick-up and drop-off to ensure smooth transfers to and from the hotel.
- Keep the Space Tidy: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bellman room, lobby, and all public areas, including cleaning the snow from walkways during colder months.
- Help Guests Navigate the Hotel: Be the expert on hotel layout, guiding guests to various areas, including the pool, dining, and other amenities.
- Deliver Information with a Smile: Provide guests with the answers they need – whether it’s recommendations for local dining, attractions, or transportation options, you're their go-to resource.
- Work Collaboratively: Assist the front desk team and other hotel departments to keep everything running smoothly.
- Stay Ready to Help: Be available to assist with any reasonable guest requests or management tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone.
- Maintain Security and Safety: Always be vigilant in helping protect the safety of our guests, team members, and hotel property.
- Absorb the Hotel: Help clean and prepare the hotel for opening and closing, ensuring a pristine environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Positive, Service-Oriented Attitude: Your goal is to provide outstanding service to each guest, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
- Physical Stamina & Dexterity: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor environments, all while maintaining a professional and cheerful demeanor.
- Multitasking Skills: You’ll need to juggle various tasks and be adaptable to a busy, ever-changing hotel environment.
- Team Player: Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping and the front desk, to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain a tidy workspace and be detail-oriented when it comes to luggage, keys, and room checks.
- Communication Skills: Be able to clearly communicate with guests and team members, especially in high-energy or stressful situations.
- Flexibility: The hospitality industry operates 24/7, so you’ll need to be flexible and available to work varying shifts as required by business needs.
