Job Description
Summary: As a Bell Attendant, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and seamless guest experience from the moment they arrive. You are responsible for properly storing and retrieving luggage with care and efficiency, anticipating guests' needs before they arise, and delivering thoughtful, timely solutions tailored to each guest or situation. Your attentiveness and professionalism directly contribute to the overall satisfaction and positive impression of our hotel, making you an essential part of the guest journey and our team's success.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Meet and greet guests warmly, creating a positive first impression
- Aid guests with luggage handling, including storage, retrieval, and transportation both in and out of the hotel
- Support guests with room changes and coordinate group luggage logistics
- Deliver exceptional telephone etiquette service and respond promptly to guest inquiries
- Maintain security of master keys and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Provide accurate and helpful local information to enhance the guest experience
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year of bell desk experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Requirements
- At least 18 Years of Age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Frequently push/pull up to 250 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Frequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Frequently standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
