Behavioral Therapist

About the role

• Provide direct behavioral services to clients in their home
• Run individualized programs with clients using the principles of Behavior Analysis
• Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized treatment plans
• Write daily session notes and collect data using programs such as Google Docs or behavioral software (e.g., Theralytics)
• Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
• Continue with professional development and ABA knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise

Requirements

• A high school and/or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (psychology, education, etc)
• Experience working with children and/or adolescents, in any capacity (babysitting, nannying, after-school programs, volunteering) for at least 1 year
• Flexibility to work weekday afternoons and evenings. Weekend sessions are not required, but are available upon request
• Pass a CORI and Federal background check
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work closely with other professionals
• Competent computer skills
• Access to reliable transportation
• Availability to work 10-20 hours per week
• Must be 18 years or older to apply

Schedule

• Part-time, 10-20 hours per week
• Weekday afternoons and evenings; weekend sessions available upon request
