About the role

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Work collaboratively with the individual served and team members to develop and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Reduce challenging behavior and teach appropriate replacement behaviors
  • Ongoing assessment, program design, monitoring of treatment interventions, and data collection
  • Direct therapy

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis
  • At least one (1) year experience developing and implementing FBAs and PBSPs
  • Applied Behavioral Analysis Experience required
  • Licensed Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred
  • Completion of Bureau of Autism Services Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) training preferred but not required
  • Licence and Vehicle REQUIRED

Qualifications

  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder and emotional and/or behavioral differences
  • Experience with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Experience with brain injuries

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and related behavioral interventions
