Behavioral Health Technician FT
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the intake process for new clients.
- Communicate with staff verbally or through written logs; maintain detailed client logs.
- Listen to clients regarding treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
- Cookordination of activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
- Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete the bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
- Attend shift changes, team meetings, and company meetings.
- Ensure adherence to the client schedule daily.
- Assist with interventions involving clients.
- Follow the objectives outlined in treatment plans.
- Monitor the medication line.
- Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.
- Conduct searches of clients upon their return to the facility.
- Monitor clients' hygiene and medical needs.
- Uphold therapeutic boundaries and the staff code of ethics.
- Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs and provide input.
- Distribute client snacks as needed.
- Train new staff on unit operations, program, and milieu.
- Assist clients in obtaining a sponsor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health preferred.

We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to support our clients and staff. The BHT is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and daily operations, providing frontline support throughout their day.

- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Shift Differential: $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Shift Differential: $1.00 (Monday - Friday)
- Shift Differential: $1.50 (Saturday and Sunday)
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Shift Differential: $1.50 (Monday - Friday)
- Shift Differential: $1.50 (Saturday and Sunday)
