Behavioral Intervention Technician (Temporary Position based upon Grant funding)
This is a temporary, grant-funded position with funding through June 2027, located at F. D. Roosevelt Elementary School.

About the Role
The Behavioral Intervention Technician supports students at F. D. Roosevelt Elementary School. This is a 10-month position (August–June) that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. The district provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Total: 28.5 hours per week. Location and hours are subject to change.
Pay
$22.05 – $28.11 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or its recognized equivalent)
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License
- Resume
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Applicants must pass an academic assessment test conducted by LESD. Current LESD employees must submit a "Reassignment Request Form" along with required documents.
