Qualifications
- Masters in Psychology or related field required.
- One to Three (1-3) years’ experience working with the DD population.
- Must be computer literate, detail-oriented and have excellent verbal and written skills.
Skills
- Provide psychological services in assigned IRA residence.
- Assess consumer functioning through standardized instruments and informal methods.
- Report findings and recommendations to IDT and conduct staff in-services.
- Develop and monitor behavioral treatment plans and behavior guidelines.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data, and participate in team meetings.
- Train staff on individual profiles and needs, and observe their performance.
- Advocate for consumers with outside providers and prepare consults for appointments.
- Attend team and staff meetings, obtain informed consent, and present cases to the HRC.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA practices.
- Contribute to facility operations and maintain professional behavior.
- Maintain regular contact with relevant parties and follow agency policies.
