Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 (Sex Offender Services) - (LSW/LPC/MFT) 20081515
This position works under clinical supervision and requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques. It is a member of a sex offender team.
About the role
As a member of a sex offender team, the incumbent is responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders.
Responsibilities
- Completes screenings and assessments
- Conducts group and sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision
- Writes reports and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies
- Enters documentation in electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts
- Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol
- Completes transfer and discharge summaries
- Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs
- Attends meetings of sex offender program supervision
- Attends in-service training and workshops for professional development
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board
- Or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board
- Or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board
