Behavioral Health Therapist - Pediatric/Adult Crisis Residential Program -PRN
About the role
The Munson Pediatric Crisis Residential Program is a six-bed, short‑term residential treatment program for youth ages 8–17 experiencing a behavioral health crisis, providing 24/7, trauma‑informed care in a safe, home‑like environment as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. During a typical 7–14‑day stay, residents receive individualized treatment—including therapy, medication management, skill‑building, and family involvement—to stabilize their mental health and prepare for a successful return home, school, and community. The Munson Adult Crisis Residential Program offers a similar short‑term, 24/7 residential treatment for adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis, providing individualized, trauma‑informed care that includes clinical support, therapy groups, medication management, crisis planning, and skill‑building to stabilize symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and prepare for a successful transition back to the community. Staff on both programs work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care. In this role you will provide direct clinical services to patients within Munson Medical Center Behavioral Health services.
