Behavioral Health Therapist Crisis

About the role

Join ND Department of Health & Human Services as a Behavioral Health Therapist Crisis. Receive a sign-on bonus of at least $10,000.00 and 11% Crisis Differential Pay on top of base salary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
• Provide individuals opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community.
• Complete assessments and service plans.
• Organize, direct, and guide care provided by other team members, and monitor and update service recommendations.
• Provide skills training, individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community, and on call.
• Provide education and consultation to families, community, interns, and residents.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or approved area AND licensure as LCSW or LPCC by ND Board of Counseling Examiners.
• Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy AND licensure as LMFT by ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology AND eligibility for licensure as LMFT by ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Doctorate in Psychology AND licensure as psychologist by ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
