Behavioral Health Therapist

About the Role

We are assisting Socorro General Hospital, part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services (a not-for-profit system), in finding well-qualified Behavioral Health Social Workers/Therapists for their program. Licensure can be Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), or equivalent. This is a full-time position located in Socorro, New Mexico, and offers a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide both group and individual therapy and update notes.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.
• Facilitate patients' access to community resources.
• Conduct therapeutic groups.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license as a LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent, and licensed in New Mexico or able to obtain licensure before starting.
• Experience in clinical therapy.
• Experience facilitating patients' access to community resources and conducting therapeutic groups.
• Flexibility to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving skills and proficient oral/written communication skills.
• BLS or ACLS certification.
