Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) - All Shifts

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).

Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.

Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff.

Record and escalate any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner.

Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.).

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and CPR certification are preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills are essential.
• A warm, compassionate, and empathetic personality is necessary.
• A dignified character that models recovery principles is important.

Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is a 93-bed residential facility which offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Newly remodeled, fresh and inviting, our expansive building brings all services under one roof and gives clients a five-star experience as they begin their recovery. Our unparalleled medical and clinical team are on call 24/7 to respond to every need, and consistently provide care in the most dignified and compassionate manner possible.
