Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and support to clients within the treatment environment.
- Build positive rapport with clients and encourage participation in treatment activities, groups, and program expectations.
- Monitor client behavior, safety, and wellbeing and communicate concerns to appropriate staff.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, transportation, appointments, meals, and community outings as assigned.
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as needed.
- Conduct room checks, safety checks, property searches, and contraband monitoring in accordance with organizational policies.
- Collect and document urine drug screens in accordance with program procedures.
- Assist with client admissions, room transitions, and discharge processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
- Complete required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), communication logs, and incident reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 requirements.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other assigned duties.

- Communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience utilizing electronic health record systems.
- Valid Alaska driver's license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Ability to successfully pass all required state and federal background screenings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or related education may be considered.
