At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues.

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include assisting with the intake and orientation process for new clients entering the program, maintaining accurate client documentation, observing and documenting client self-administration of medication, coordinating and supervising client daily activities and schedules, and following treatment plan objectives to support client-specific therapeutic goals.

  • Assist with the intake and orientation process for new clients entering the program.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
  • Coordinate and supervise client daily activities and schedules.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives and support client-specific therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor client behavior and emotional needs and respond appropriately, including crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly treatment environment.
  • Assist with client dietary and daily living needs as required.

Additional duties when serving as a BHT Driver include transporting clients to and from treatment programs, medical appointments, meetings, and other approved locations, ensuring safe supervision of clients during transportation, and maintaining required transportation documentation and logs.

Requirements

A completed High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information. Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities is also required.

Pay and Schedule

The hourly rate for this position is $15/hour, with 12-hour shifts, 12-24 hours/week, and weekend scheduling.
