Behavioral Health Technician (Part-Time)

About the role

The Behavioral Health Tech I supports patients throughout their treatment journey, from admission to discharge, by ensuring safety, providing interventions, leading psychoeducational groups, and assisting with treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to policies, maintain professionalism, and deliver respectful, culturally sensitive care.
• Assist patients with daily needs, including hygiene, meals, and safety observations.
• Support nursing staff with patient supervision and crisis response.
• Document patient activities, monitor environment safety, and perform housekeeping duties.
• Participate in staff meetings, complete training, and uphold infection control protocols.
• In specific divisions, provide supervision during meals, collect urine specimens, or assist with medication passing and transportation.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, CPI, and food safety certifications.
• Minimum one year of sobriety or recovery if in recovery for respective divisions.

Pay

$16.00-$22.00 hourly

Schedule

Full-time, on-site role in Dade City, FL.
