Behavioral Health Technician (Part-time)

About the role

The Behavioral Health Technician at Monte Nido Rosewood will assist the nursing team in providing comprehensive care to patients with eating disorders. The position involves monitoring patient activities and behaviors, supporting meal times, facilitating therapy activities, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care by demonstrating skills in basic monitoring of patient activities and behaviors.
• Support meal monitoring and redirection of patients with eating disorders.
• Facilitate topic groups with therapy activities such as art, recreational activities, meditation, and guided imagery.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Current AZ DPS fingerprint card within specified timeframe.
• Age 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience in behavioral and/or mental health preferred.
• Eating Disorder knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must adhere to all policies and procedures of Monte Nido Rosewood.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of eating disorders and related treatments.
