Behavioral Health Technician (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Aid in the intake process for new clients.
• Communicate with staff through verbal or written logs, maintaining detailed client records.
• Listen to clients regarding their treatment needs and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment.
• Coordinate various activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Attend shift changes, team meetings, and company meetings.
• Ensure adherence to the client’s daily schedule.
• Support interventions with clients and follow treatment plans.
• Assist with necessary hygiene and medical needs.
• Upkeep therapeutic boundaries and adhere to the staff code of ethics.
• Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

  Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Georgia driver’s license
  • CPI and CPR/AED certification
  • Two years of experience in behavioral health treatment settings, preferably in mental health programs
  • Experience working with both adolescents and adults preferred

    Qualifications

    High Focus in Johns Creek is seeking a Full Time BHT. The position involves working 24 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with varying schedules from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM to 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM depending on the day. The pay rate is $17 per hour.
