Behavioral Health Technician Full Time Overnight

About the role

As a direct care professional, the Behavioral Health Technician plays an essential role in delivering treatment services by interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. This PRN position supports the Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to appointments and discharge locations using a company-provided vehicle.
• Complete the intake process with new clients entering the program.
• Maintain accurate client documentation.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
• Coordinate client activities.
• Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
• Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
• Assist with clients' dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances.

Pay

$15.00/hour before differentials for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
