Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) FT and PT positions available

About the Role

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom, community, and home environment.

The role involves prompt interventions in behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required.

Requirements

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications such as EMR.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
• Valid PA Driver's license.
