Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) FT and PT

About the role

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one‑to‑one assistance to children and adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions that help them succeed in classroom, community, and home environments.

Responsibilities

• Prompt interventions in behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on treatment‑plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
• Collect daily data and document progress in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required.
• Collaborate with the client, family, and all other assigned team members to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive changes in someone's life.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and the ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications.
• Must possess or be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and auto insurance.
