Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Day Shift

Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The BHT functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
• Assist with visitation in the evenings.
• Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior, or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
• Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
• Comply with the established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Experience working in a behavioral health care setting.
• High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
