Responsibilities
- Conduct functional analyses of patient behavior
- Participate as a member of the treatment team
- Contribute to the Master Treatment Plan
- Implement appropriate interventions from the plan
- Conduct individual and group psychoeducation
- Facilitate leisure activities and life-skills training
- Coach patients
- Monitor patient and unit safety
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting
