Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll contribute to our commitment to providing superior care that meets and exceeds patient expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional analyses of patient behavior
• Participate as a member of the treatment team
• Contribute to the Master Treatment Plan
• Implement appropriate interventions from the plan
• Conduct individual and group psychoeducation
• Lead leisure activities and life-skills training and coaching for all patients
• Monitor patient and unit safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred
• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting

Qualifications
