About the role
Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Full Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide clinical services to families enrolled within our agency throughout Pima County. Responsibilities
- A passion for empowering young people with behavioral health challenges to maximize their potential through mentoring, role-modeling, coaching and other individually-tailored interventions.
- Implement skill-building activities and behavior coaching tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide services in the community, home, or other natural settings.
- Ability to relate to and build positive connections with children and adults and be working in a strength-based and family-centered way.
- Performing other duties related to the position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of behavioral health experience
- Related Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable 39 month driving record
- Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance
- Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
- Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
Qualifications
- Education/Experience Needed (one of the following):
- A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of behavioral health experience
- A related Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
