About the role

Join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based mental health interventions and support services to youth with behavioral and psychiatric needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, evidence-based mental health interventions and support services to youth with behavioral and psychiatric needs.
  • Work in a variety of community-based settings—including homes, schools, and other natural environments—helping clients build essential coping skills, improve daily functioning, and achieve personal goals.
  • Partner closely with families and clinical teams to deliver compassionate, strengths-based care tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following:
    • A High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training
    • A Minimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services
    • A Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization
    • A Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
    • Reimbursement based on education and experience
    • Proficient using Microsoft Office and database systems; experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus
    • Must be extremely organized
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be professional, flexible, and able to work independently
    • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus but not required

Availability

Flexible schedule, possible for up to 40 hours per week; may require non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
