Summary of the Position
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in various community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. The BHT works under supervision, participates in interdisciplinary teams, and implements treatment goals to help children/adolescents maintain and function in the least restrictive setting.
Availability
Flexible hours up to 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate
$18.00 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must meet one of the following:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent and completed 40+ hours of training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services
- Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with an Electronic Health Record System (EHR) is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
