Behavioral Health Technician
Job Summary
As a Mental Health Tech at St. Mark's Hospital, you will join a passionate team dedicated to enhancing patient interactions and promoting the holistic well-being of those served. Your responsibilities include patient observation rounds, suicide risk observation, assisting with behavior modification programs, ensuring patient safety through monitoring and escorting, taking vital signs, and documenting clinical assessments.
Qualifications
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- Certification in Non Violent Physical Crisis Intervention (CPI) within 30 days of hire
- C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification preferred but not required
- At least one year of experience as a Mental Health Technician or C.N.A. in a behavioral health setting
