About the role

At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford, we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment. We have been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, providing high-quality behavioral health care.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the intake and orientation process for new clients.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
  • Cookordinate and supervise client daily activities and schedules.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives and support client-specific therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor client behavior and emotional needs and respond appropriately, including crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly treatment environment.
  • Assist with client dietary and daily living needs as required.
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information.
  • Complete all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • When serving as a BHT Driver:
  • Transport clients to and from treatment programs, medical appointments, meetings, and other approved locations.
  • Ensure safe supervision of clients during transportation.
  • Follow all company transportation policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain required transportation documentation and logs.
  • Ensure vehicles are operated safely and report maintenance or safety concerns as appropriate.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • If hired as a BHT Driver: Required active driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

Pay

$15.00/hour (before shift differentials!)

Schedule

12-hour shifts, 40 hours/week with weekend scheduling
