Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and supervision to individuals in accordance with their individualized service plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and plan strategies for supporting individuals.
• Ensure safety and security of individuals at all times.
• Document observations and progress in individualized service plans and other relevant records.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check and criminal history review.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with individuals and families.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and assist individuals as needed.

Skills

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
