Behavioral Health Technician

About the role

The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home, school, clinic, or community settings
• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCB
• Teach and support skill development in areas such as communication, social skills, play, self-care, and independence
• Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the treatment team
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
• Experience working with young adults, autism, ABA, or developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed
