About the role
The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home, school, clinic, or community settings
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCB
- Teach and support skill development in areas such as communication, social skills, play, self-care, and independence
- Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the treatment team
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with young adults, autism, ABA, or developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed
