Behavioral Health Tech - PRN

About the role

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic company focused on providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. Founded over 35 years ago, ReMed develops programs tailored to the diverse needs of clients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior and provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Aids residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, transfers, toileting, and physical assistance
• Assists in physical, vocational, and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, and educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily documentation including behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports
• Performs housekeeping chores such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
